@17gijoe He was a GREAT President. You need to to do a little reading. Got this country out of the Depression and won the War.

@WasabiSnorter249 No, he didn't--that's the biggest lie in world history. Don't blacken our dear Pres.'s name by that lie. REad "Freedom from Fear".

War sucks but I cant think of a better leader then FDR. There is a reason he has a monument in Washington. He basically lead our country through one of the greatest crises (what is the multiple form of of crises?) that we have ever faced.

My speakers class tomorrow is doing famous speeches. I chose this one. :)

@dylan9436 he would be if he let the jews into america.

FDR was a good president for the economy, its only a shame that he knew of the impending japanese attack when Australian intelligence had contacted him 3 days before the pearl harbor incident to warn him about a japanese fleet spotted heading towards hawaii.... of course he dismissed it.....

@Onepretentiousdude FDR was not a good president at all, he was however a great war president though... and he put japs in jail due to an incident right after pearl harbor and he was forced to do so thanks to traitors... i forgot what the name of the story was but thats why he had to do it
thumbs up if you think FDR was the best president we've ever had

@chasyes1 If the only lessons we took out of the conflict were how to make good jets, missiles, planes, and atomic bombs, perhaps most college kids should think more about the repercussions of America's actions following this speech rather than the date we flexed our military muscles that landed many tens of thousands of men and women (on both sides) in rotting graves, flayed and forgotten. The lesson of war is not that we are good at it; the lesson resides in the importance of peace.
