I wouldnt expect Google to implement this type of doc organization when they normally encourage searching. They probably want the touch interface for their OS.
I understand the intent of trying to make a computer respond more like the real world to encourage new users but this just looks like more things to manage. It may be a good thing for people whove never touched a computer but a user should learn how to store, sort, and more importantly search through their data.
