I was "in love" with Rex Allen Sr when I was about ten years old. (63 yrs ago) I even belonged to his fan club. He had a radio show and I would listen to it whenever it was broadcast. I think the Sponsor was "Phillips 66".. At the end of each radio show, he would say " Do you know how to spell Church? " He would then say the letters 'ch ch" Then he would say "Do you know what's missing? u r. " Great voice and a good-looking man, Loved him.
I worked with Rex as his girl singer starting in 1970. Wouldn't trade those years for anything.
