My God, what have we (humanity) become?! This really touched me. I have tears streaming down my face as I type this this. Excellently put together. Well done. Alas, the evidence is irrefutable. Sure global warming is a natural cyclic occurrence, but never before has it happened at such an alarming rate, and in concert with increased GHG emissions from human industries. By denying our contribution, we're risking an increase of several degrees celcius within 100 years, which will wreck total havoc on agriculture (upon which many of the poorest people rely), our oceans (wiping out coastal cities), our wildlife, etc.

One more point: the food used to sustain the industry could feed 8.7 billion people a year, yet over 800 million go to bed hungry every night. With the world's growing population, it's just not sustainable.

Additionally, meat and dairy have been proven to lead to a wide range of detrimental health effects, including drastically increased risks of developing certain types of cancer, osteoporosis, etc. Vegetarians/vegans have been found to live, on average, 5-10 years longer than meat-eaters. There are very few people in the world who actually need meat in order to satisfy their nutritional requirements.

Torture aside, the livestock industry (meat and dairy) contributes more to climate change than automobiles - even if we cut all CO2 emissions, the earth will continue warming for another 100 years, whereas if we all go vegan, the worst effects will have come and gone in 10 years (this is because methane is around 21x more potent than CO2, yet only remains in the atmosphere for around 10 years). It's therefore not just about animals; it could save billions of human lives too.

wow I'm in total awe that was totally amazing and inspiring and chilling , mving and not enough words nor emotions mcould describe what that just did to me....how it affected me.......at first it was like..."shit, he stole my idea' I've had the exact same idea about the exact same song...as well as one by raised by swans protesting drug use though......I can't believe there's others out there like you...I thought iwas alone in that feeling and it just totally overwhelms me with appreciation/joy!
