What a show! Surrounded by top models (Petra was there!), tennis player Serena Williams and more (check video here soon), it was hard to get through the various stations where HP was presenting its new handhelds, PCs and workstations. But the showstopper was Blackbird 002, HP's latest gaming PC. And according to Voodoo co-founder Rahul Sood, Blackbird "obliterates the competition". Actually, it does it so well that it even obliterates Voodoo's top of the line PC, the Omen. And I after his presentation, I asked Rahul what should I buy, between Blackbird 002 and a Voodoo PC and his answer came as an astonishing surprise. "If you have to buy a gaming PC today, get the Blackbird. It has the best engineering. We are working on a complete new generation of Voodoo PC that will even more blow you away. Stay tuned", said Rahul Sood.

  • I'd take the case, not the hardware. I'd save $4000 for something similar.

  • god that guy was boring .. pretty cool, but not impressive enough .. home made customs are a lot better hands down .. I'm going to build one soon enough (never had before) .. wish me luck

  • i only want the case, but it cost about 1000$ :S

  • u can tell no one cares by how many ppl are talking in the background... =_= so much fail just in the presentation alone!

  • when this was released i always expected it to be very small and compact...

    apparently i was wrong.

  • you can buy mine

  • And I can't stand Voodoo's web site now arghhh.. The good die young. :(

  • Voodoo used to be an amazing company making really rowdy computers. They also used to have many models to choose from. I still use the Rage F:50 and yes the specs are way outdated but for normal computing it is awesome! Most unique computer ever made imo.

The new Voodoo or should I say HP comps may perform good but they are terribly ugly, goofy looking and Voodoo has certainly lost their edge.

It's an HP lol, like seriously. I'll pass Rahul, thx.

  • Without hp they would be nothing

  • Voodoo PC selling out to HP was a huge shame. Voodoo PC had so many cool, custom PC's when they were independent and now they just have the HP Firebird and a couple of rebadged HP laptops.

First Alienware, then Voodoo PC. Who is next? Falcon Northwest? God, I hope not.

  • these jerks sold their souls to hp they are nothing anymore.

  • Can't find the Omen anymore. They discontinued it due to poor sales.
