Refreshing to hear it played at a reasonable volume. I definitely like it better without the repeats. Rudimental solos can become monotonous very quickly. This version did not. Good stuff.

@ClarkKasheta i talk how i want and i apolagize for that i just found out that there are 2 diff versions
-
@richkid2267 hey quit talking in that manner first of all they teach it with 5 strokes because it sounds better maybe you should lean the meaning behind it instead of posting rude comments
-
@gaidin6 depends on what tempo you are playing at.I have played it with sevens and fives.you play a seven at 110 bpm and at a faster tempo of 125 bpm its easier to play fives.
-
@gaidin6 I never saw the solo in 5's but ill be uploading the 1 with J.Burns Moore soon
-
@richkid2267 The only way I've ever seen the sheet music is with 5-stroke rolls. If you have it, from J.Burns Moore, with 7's, I'd like to see it.
its a weird rendition. i noticed there were no repeats of certain bars like the origional ludwig drum co. music has.

@caboose39134 That's why I said in the description "without repeats." You have to remember, the J.B. Moore version and the Ludwig version are musical interpretations of the original cadence. The composer of the original is elusive. If you look at original pieces of Bach, there are no repeats or any other musical marking; the musician adds them according to the phrasing. I decided to play this without repeats.

to add my comment the paradiddles should be flam paradiddles and also you only played half of the solo.

@wheelholder12 Those are notated "S.P." or "single paradiddle." Also, my description says that I did not take the repeat (which is completely acceptable).

ALMOST EVERYBODY PLAYS THIS SOLO WITH 5 STOKE ROLLS THER ARE NO FUCKING 5 STROKE ROLLS ITS 7ns otherwise the solo wuz good

@richkid2267 There are different versions with different notations. The notation I followed is interpreted, literally, with five stroke rolls. I'm playing a classical percussion interpretation, not a traditional field drum interpretation. You should watch your mouth, also.
