@1jogstar For the most part I agree. However the manatees were trying and do try to avoid boats and are scared of them. I work with the manatee biologists and they tend to agree. As an FWC officer, if I had seen her jump in after one like that I would have just given her a warning and explained to her why not to do that. They are stressed enough.

@FawxNewbz I am a Marine officer here for the state. As of yet you do not need a license unless you are under 21. However you should educate yourself as much as possible. Shallow water makes boating hazardous here; not to mention the copious amounts of boaters.

@1jogstar I've never seen dolphins get scared off by ski noise. If anything, they seem intrigued and are more than willing to investigate! :)

Awesome video you guys...and fun as well!! So much for all the crap about Jetski's/Waverunners scarring the wildlife...the dolphins and manatee looked very comfortable and not in the least bit afraid...and you did the right thing running slow and quietly...great job!!!!

@SavedGasMan27 Driving time, about 8 hours. South of Sarasota. In my opinion, the nice part of Florida. :)

Yeah, it was really calm that day. Some days it's a lot rougher, but we had an excellent day for riding!
