we need someone who knows how to read lips to help us here

I meant Jim/Roger McGuinn. Sorry about that. (after 2 Rolling Thunder Revue shows in Houston, McGuinn introduced himself later at Liberty Hall as Jim.) :
-
Someone mentioned a clear guitar...Jim/Roger used to play 12-string for "Eight Miles High", with different lights inside of it tuned to the notes, during at least '75/'77. it was way bitchin'!

Oh boy no sound. Who would give a good goddamn rip?
-
Thank´s Jimi for your music, and your spirit!!!
-
There is no sound because the sound man was so f-ing stoned he thought he was killing ants crawling up his mic instead of turning on the recording unit.
-
he was smoking a doube
-
no sound, but a 100th of a second, they had..:)

Would have been nice to hear the ' interchanging' with Mick T. & Jimi !
The old days are the best just because more artists and bands made great music together and acknowledged it. It's great to see Rollings Stones and Jimi Hendrix just playing. More for lack of a better word "artists" need to make songs together.
