  • How could anyone not find this magnificent? Old sound but his voice comes through beautifully. It's not hammy (schmaltzy) or cold, feeling and beauty combined. 4 stars. Bravo!

  • Yes I also have it on the Royale, a small LP. The Everest has many arias and songs. All from  the same recordings!

  • This is excellent! I have had it since the early 70's on Everest #3264 LP "Jan Peerce the early years" In fact they "forgot" to send him a Royalty check or even tell him about the recording which had many arias from 78 RPM records and Italian songs on the flip side. The Cielo e Mar was excellent also and I hope you will post it. Anyhow when Jan was up to my Apt. back in the early 70's I played it for him and he smiled after the Pag. and nodded approval! He then got it settled with his Lawyer
