Doctors say Latino Americans are at a higher risk for obesity and diabetes and their children often have the highest rates of obesity and diabetes in the nation.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, with the help of Metro Nashville's Parks and Recreation Department, has developed a 'unique' program to help Latino families become healthier.
And the experts are finding the program is also helping ease loneliness and isolation.
