  • your responding to something that was posted 3 years ago wow that's lame. But the six sounds are not based off of the ayurvedic system the six sounds are strictly based of traditional duxiehan ( chinese medicine) which is daoist based and is not even related to the system for mudra's. But you can think whatever you want . ( oh yeah for got to state aryuveda is not chinese jack ass)

  • @joshinmaster I'm callling bs. You can use "any" sound with the index finger pointed. Its the mudra for the throat chakra. The sat kriya for example. Hung gar "borrows" from the virabhadrasana adding the single bridge hand. I've seen sets where people whistle the inbreath. You can grunt. The single finger bridge hand enhances vocal activation. At advanced levels the sound can do the work without the movement and even subvocal. I wager the sounds are meaningnless.

  • @crushintome01 The problem is its a qi tricking gimmick. Your not supposed to energize organs, you prematurely age them. Classically your supposed to close (shao gong) your sets with neigong to quiet the qi to prevent prematurely aging the organs. The energy has to be led away from the organs. Classic sign that something is wrong is after you train you are all energized. True neigong puts you to SLEEP and if you havent experienced that your not internal. Stimulate not tonify.

  • They did a study and found than sanchin was no more strenuous than deep knee bends.

  • @schulleee this is not true i train hung gar allthough hung gar guys are known for their strength they also focus on internal power (chigung) thats what the iron wire is true strength comes from a combination of both the interal training as well as the external

may you continue train hard in your kung fu God Bless

  • hung gar focuses mostly on external power (plain musclepower). since they do diffrent workouts their body gets a diffrent "transformation" sth. that we call a "kung fu body". since those workout do not requiere any kind of added weights old men still can do it and they mostly still have incredible strenght even though their age.

it´s too bad though you mostly see old masters having a body like that cause the youth rather builds up muscles in studios ... which is good as well but still diffrent!

  • Do you want to fight this old man? Or piss him off? I bet he'll do more than wave his fist at you when you run away after messing up his yard (>w<)

  • Very good question and observative !!

  • that's correct !!
