@horsessim19 I never claimed to know a lot about it. But I do know that some forms of rodeo (albeit possibly those that don't "follow all the rules") DO inflict pain on the animals. And that was what I was referring to. So if you must be such a pompous ass... don’t comment.

And we also buy pads that are worth $100 or more so that it is more comfortable for the horse, we use bell boots and other protective gear, and when we are done (most of us) cool the horse out, untack and give them a good brushing. Then they get fresh water, grain, hay, a nice stall, etc. I wouldn't really say poor horses. Yeah, this video is pretty graphic at some points, but to be blunt, shit happens. It's just like in any other sport, there's always a danger to it.
