This application, based on Nasa World Wind Java (WWJ), adapts several third party services such for routing, navigation and place finding.

To use and adapt such services, we build an application with aan open and standardized interface, specified by the OGC Open Location Services (OpenLS) initative (http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/ols).
This applications can be used with three of the core service interfaces, specified by the OGC OpenLS Initiative:
•Route Service (determinates shortest path)
•Directory Service (search for Points of Interests)
•Location Utility Service (Geocoder/ReverseGeocoder)

So our application offers following features until today:
-Send routing request by mouseclick on start- or destination or by address search (geocoding)
-Selection of different routing parameters (metric, language, units)
-Visualization of route determinate responses
-Request points of interest along a route
-Export determinate routes as gpx-track-file
-WMS- and Layer-Manager to illustrate route and terrain in different ways
-Interactive drive simulation (different speed and perspectives)

Kindly supported by the openRouteService.org project of the university Bonn
