  • At least for part 1 (and I've given my reasons), Buckley doesn't win, but Hitchens totally loses. Come see what I think of Part 2!!!

  • As much as I love Christopher, he totally shirks the question between 3:21 and 3:56. Peter asks if he had intellectual impetuses for his actions then, and all Hitchens replies with is mature anecdotes about Bob Dylan songs -- anecdotes he may have concocted later in life, and probably did. Wish he had been more honest. Just saying....

  • rip hitch

  • If I may recommend a book about the increase of violence in "the Sixties": The Better Angels of Our Nature (Honest Abe quote) by Steven Pinker. A bit better than the slight ramble here on the statistics.

  • Never ask a Catholic a question about sex, ever.

  • @digitalbroadcastmk7 haha, good point.

  • im illegitimate and WHAT THE FUCK U GONNA DO ABOUT IT BITCH?

sorry i hate it when ppl get all angry about illegitimacy, there's nothing wrong with it. what the world really needs to do is get rid of all these stupid social constructs that it has in place- 'deserts', the idea that some things that affect absolutely no-one else, like illegal drugs, can have something inherently immoral about them. come on people, keep what you've got that's good but start anew, and do whatever the fuck you like!!!

  • Hitchens looks like he has Down's Syndrome here.

  • wow this interviewer is a first class asshole

  • The divorce, abortion, and teen pregnancy rate are much higher in the very conservative Bible belt than anywhere else in the States. Wonder why this putz didn't mention THAT little tidbit.
