As there have been a few comments on the music being too loud, I decided to do another video without any music.

  • I appreciated your video and seeing how bp has impacted you life. Most people (and bps) don't know that bp is the 6th most common reason for disability (in the US). Alcohol is a form of "self medicating" and is not a good mix with bp meds. I went from 2/3 per day down to 1 per day (good progress). Good luck.

  • Thank you for your comments and well done! In the uk, bipolar is not very well known and most people think that there's nothing wrong with me. lol

  • This is scary, so much like my husband. BPD scares me. It's worn me out trying to help my husband.

  • thankyou..you have gave me an insight into how my son feels....i wish you well.. the behaviour various from sufferer to sufferer but the results seem to be the same, debt, relationship breakdowns, in and outa work.. getting access to appropriate care ect ect ..as a carer im left with the aftermath of makeing everything right after an episode..not easy.. we love and support but spare a thought plz............much love...and thankyou again video and comments been a great help x

  • Dude mania by no means means periods of elevated mood, I mean certainly elevated mood is common but it's more about being irritable, anxious, overly energetic, and so on.. When I had my manic episode I was actually somewhat depressed (or I guess a better word would be "sad") despite feeling like I could accomplish anything. If I were bipolar type 2 there would be no way in hell I'd be taking medication for it.. It barely even feels worth it for the more serious bipolar 1.

  • You are extremely brave to post this. Your eyes kinda freak me out a little, though. Good Luck!

  • my mom is bipolar it was one of the hardest things to deal with because at first we had no idea what it was, and what she was doing. I love my mom so much but i remember having to deal with her yelling and even once spitting in my face. Now that i understand alot more about this, i can help her, and as long as she takes her medication she is fine. I am now completing a research paper on bipolar disorder for college. I think that you are very brave for completing this video thanks.
