  • This has only 1,004 views plus mine? Church canon law should make that at least a venial sin! I remember when this song came out. I was a senior in High School. The preceding Summer was so cool. The Summer of 1968 wasn't bad at all. But the Summer of 1969 was a total trip. Didn't make it to Woodstock but the Atlantic City Pop Festival was nice. Only remember a little of it because of something called STP. My friends had to drag me out of the ocean after frolicking in the waves for 5 hours. Nice!

  • memories of my late friend Mick Haran who tradgickly died in a car crash in 1968 seemed to playing in the pubs and clubs in Bolton in the late sixties.Happy times!
