It's really not bad at all for a beginner! To me it seems as if you hadn't the courage yet to open more your sould and to led out all of your feelings... Or you were to concentrated to hit the notes... So you might just need more practice in general and relating this aria... All the best for your career!

What you say about the courage is very right, most of the time I am too concentrated on the technical aspects to let the feelings out :S. But I start to realise it and yes, practising always helps;). I hope the next recordings will be better:)

that's great :) i really liked your technique and voice...before some months i started taking classical courses and i really understand the fact that you have to concetrate to the techinque..i'm a beginner and i sing arias like "lasciatemi morire" and stuff and i find them rather difficult if you want to be perfect techincally:)
