This video is a tribute to Mark G. Falkenhan which includes pictures of his funeral and audio of his last alarm. Mark died in the line of duty while rescuing trapped victims in a 4-alarm apartment fire in Parkville, Maryland on January 19th, 2011.
Mark began volunteering with the Middle River Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Company where he is now a life member. He then began working for the Baltimore County Fire Department as a career Firefighter/Paramedic for 16 years, later moving on to a position with the United States Secret Service, all while continuing to volunteer at Middle River and Lutherville Volunteer Fire Companies.
Mark's Funeral took place on January 24th, 2011 and included over 200 pieces of fire apparatus and was attended by over 3,000 uniformed personnel from all over the country paying their respects. Mark will be forever remembered as a father, husband, firefighter, teacher, mentor, and friend to all that knew him.
The family is requesting any donations be sent to the Baltimore County Fallen Firefighters Fund or National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

@killerlarryusmc i have been to LODD funeral for my best friend Richard, he died while being first responder to another fatal accident the most sad part for me was that i watched him die with my very own eyes!!
