Tire burnouts are boring. This guy actually burns his whole engine out ;-) Although i don't think he intended to do so. I wonder what would have happened, if the other guy did not incidentally come along to shut the engine down.

The car is fine. He obviously went for the James Bond Smoke Veil option when buying the car!

It is not turbo defect,not injectors,it is engine running in full throttle for some reason.Engine could not take such a high RPM's and blown!

He could have just popped it in to the top gear and stalled the engine...

Hmm no, cutting the fuel won't help. It will just run off its lubrication oil, until it seizes. However throwing a shirt and blocking the intake would stop it.

runaway diesel , pretty wicked , harmless to your engine if you stop it in time , just block air intake or cut the fuel .:D cool to see though!!!

@CaHboKk Это Х5 они в 90% случаев с автоматом покупались. Может и не помочь. Может просто сцепление спалишь. Ее можно вырубить только остановив подачу воздуха в движок но до него еще добратся надо. Это же не камазовский дизель в котором только пара шестеренок крутятся.

@SidStyles der schlüssel ist 100% gezogen. das ist aber ein diesel. die sind selbstzünder, d.h. die zünden ohne zündkerzen. hier hats definitiv den turbolader geschrottet. der wagen saugt öl und zündet von selbst auch ohne schlüssel, bis das motoröl alle ist und der wagen somit im arsch ist. bei handschaltung haste ne chance, indem du den wagen abwürgst (3. gang rein, bremse treten und kupplung fliegen lassen). kann aber sein, dass dir dabei die kupplung verglüht. dann haste gelitten.
