NOTE: I never played this game when it was first released so this is my first shot at the game.

@SDSBass It was still before the Time that Shooter games were Properly made.

Creating one was such as MGS's must've been hard.

Indeed it's a Sneaker Game, but Shooting is escential when it comes to Tranquilizers, ofc there are routes and timings that makes the Tranquilizer Option pointless.

However, despite all of that, The Shooting Function in this game is still Obsolete.

@zuser But the MGS series are not shooter, they have never beeen. That's why shooting was so difficult, because the point of the game was not to shoot, but to sneak.

To everyone else: firstly, you're complaining and whining... about Phil's complaining and whining, which I find hilariously ironic (and hypocritical!). And remember, this is a free and optional video, I know this might sound crazy, but you actually have the freedom not to watch it!

Watching this guy play this game makes me roll on the floor laughing. The only way he's ever hunted for food in this game was kicking the animals :/

Let's remember here, MGS-series were before FPS shooters got big and good, that is why the Controles are so wacky, because at the time, no one really knew how to properly make these controles, let alone 3rd person Shooters came a long while after.

I think they did a Good job with it, making it more realistic, for the time it was a Great experience, but back then, alot of games had new concepts and such, nowadays, everything is a rip-off of another...
