  • I'd just like to say to all the people that think what this robot is doing is terrible for the musical world, but I'm betting that if all your heard was the music and had no idea a robot was playing it, you would assume that a human had played it.

  • This robot isn't a trumpet player, he is missing one key thing. The ego.

  • sounds like a white boy trying to play jazz. no soul.

  • what embouchure is he using?

  • Cmon dude in a rebot suite..please..

  • Now make your cars do this!

  • how it work? the lips? plastic-setpmotor-controlled? it is impossib.. wow

  • I completely agree with the next guy on it lacking emotion, but c'mon! How cool is that!! :D what I'm wondering is how it got it's buzz and air :P

  • This sounds very nice but i dont agree with making robots with this ability becuase it taes away soul lol a robot playing a jazz peice for instants.

  • @dizzytitch1 lol what? The robot's not playing at all. A robot has not the components to make a brass instrument work. It's emitting pre-recorded (played by a human) music and moving its fingers in synch. The reason you perceive it as devoid of heart, soul emotion and feeling is because 1) You see the robot and assume it is playing the music in real time, and 2) It was likely performed by a corporate session musician who was paid to play it like that, then auto tuned to death.

  • Completely devoid of expression, soul, heart, emotion and feeling. I'm glad I don't play like that!

  • @Hamish767 I beg to differ, I think as a trumpeter myself, I personally find it's not quite got the same warmth as a human could produce, the sound feels a little cold and empty and would perhaps not think of a robot but perhaps electronic sounds more than anything
