http://www.dartingtonantiques.co.uk/index.asp, Simon from Dartington Antiques is seen here describing an antique rosewood sofa table.
Standing on four tapering outswept legs supported by a brass castor on each and nicely decorated with brass stringing this antique sofa table features some lovely detailing with brass inlaid motifs to the drawer face and raised panels on either side. Brass stringing also features on the Lyre shaped supporting fly brackets and on to the table top where parallel stringing is applied all around the perimeter of wonderfully coloured rosewood veneered surface.
