Speed Art Information:
● So Priya had given me a picture of her that was taken from a photo shoot she was doing and I had decided to use it under her permission of course for an edit, however at this point had no idea what to do. Originally I just wanted to edit her with some photo re-touching.
● Sunset - This came around first as previewed, when I had finally found my idea for the edit which was to place her in a field with a beautiful sunset I decided to turn it into a photo manipulation speed art. However I didn't see this as 'enough' work to present to you guys.
● Dawn - So that's where Dawn came in to play and the idea behind this was to pretty much create the opposite of Sunset whilst making sure the mood of the image was dramatically changed and I think I did a fairly good job of that. I think Dawn turned out a lot better than Sunset in my own visual opinion.
● Aurora - So now you're probably wondering, 'where did aurora come from?' Well I asked my dad for some feedback on the other two after the speed art had finished rendering when he said 'you should do another version with the northern lights'...That's when I said you know what you're right and that's how aurora came about, from the mind of a man that doesn't have a clue about art! And if I'm honest it is by far my favorite of the 3.
● Recording time was just a little over 2 hours. After that I spent a fair few hours editing and paying a lot of attention to detail which is why the finals will look fairly different to the sped up versions that you are watching. I have said this before that I don't like to record everything because you'd continuously watch the same image get added and adjusted to for another couple of minutes and not to mention that if i was recording the full 5-6 hours I wouldn't have payed much attention to some of the detail that has been applied. You probably think another 3-4 hours off screen is 'excessive' but believe me, without those extra hours these images wouldn't be where they are now and that's why I'm adding this edit to my top 3 speed arts.
