Did you ever get annouied from Safari opening link in new window instead in a new tab? well in here i will show you how to get fix it.

Terminal code: "defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true" (without the double quotes)

  • I am running safari 4.3.1. used to be able to right click and see open in new tab.

    that option is no longer there any ideas how to get it back

  • how do i do this on the windows version of safari

  • Open Terminal.app (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal). Then enter the following:

    defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

    Note: you need to restart safari.
