How to make links open in new tab instead of new window in Safari

Did you ever get annouied from Safari opening link in new window instead in a new tab? well in here i will show you how to get fix it.
Terminal code: "defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true" (without the double quotes)

how do i do this on the windows version of safari

Open Terminal.app (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal). Then enter the following:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true
Note: you need to restart safari.

I am running safari 4.3.1. used to be able to right click and see open in new tab.

sorry but it doesnt work for some reasons, i am running the latest os and safari 5.0

also keep in mind after copying the command press "enter"
