The Mezeah Grounds is an original game concept contained and developed as a short single player experience using the Unreal engine.
Captain Marx Revis and his electronic guide AIIA root out an enemy military infestation on the mysterious island of Mezeah, and eventually come face to face with the ethereal guardian spirit that guards the island's secrets.
Comprised of two levels (Surface and Underground), the game experience is a shooter that offers simple puzzle solving and minimal combat. A third level, in the form of a CTF map called "The Acropolis" serves as an ethereal dimensional gateway between the world of the Mezeah Grounds, and the external world. This third map was a collaboration with Jamieson Shearer.

Looks good Resk ^^ Though I think it could do without the Papyrus font x) but that's just a personal hatred for that font.
The game has a very quake-esque feel about it.

I'm glad you liked it. It was a tricky few levels to make, with a lot of lights set to turn on and off (I still put far too much lighting into my levels!)
Editing the video together was cool though, as I hadn't played through the level (to record footage) since I made it last November.

Ah I see XD Is the game available anywhere yet for a download? I'd love to give it a try sometime if it is.

Unfortunately, the levels are not available for download. This is because there are many flaws in the level that often prevent it from working correctly.
