@extraleague01 It's technically a remake, as a 1950 movie by the same name, based on the famous book exists but it definitely was attempting to cash in on Indiana Jones whom was ironically partially inspired by the literary Allan Quartermain.

@Spectralancer shut up cock fucker

I thought they got the idea from The Treasure of Sierra Madre, a 1948 movie.

@drinkerman5000 but not the Movie!
-
I think music like this would be much more suitable for Jesuses second coming, but it's bad for such indie crap
-
@willoke8 it came before indiana jones
-
I'D SAY IT IS A COPY OF INDIANA JONES
-
I love it !

Yeah, I haven't watched the movie just because of how far from the book it is. H. Rider Haggard's novel is the oldest book I've ever enjoyed reading. But on the plus side, the music is fantastic!

@spas16 Yeah, but the first 2 Indiana jones pictures, came out before these Allen Quatermain pictures. And these remakes bare no resemblance to the original King Solomon's. These remakes were updated for the Indiana Jones generation. And that's being kind.
As Bernard Herrmann once said: "Your music is too good for these movies".

This is how it would have sounded if Jerry Composed the Music for Raiders of the lost ark
