{Overview}
I met a Japanese acoustic band in Tokyo and their song has aroused my interest by its good sound and story. As I listen to it, a visual idea came to me and I thought it is a good experience for me to shoot a Japanese music video in Japan. In this project of making a music video, I am directing the whole process, organizing staff and coordinating.


{About the story}
"Anata" (Engl.: you)

"Anata" is a poetic love song between a man and a woman currently in a long distance relationship. In the scene, a man is alone in his room, feeling lonely. He receives a mail from his girlfriend, telling that she won't be back for a longer time. Then the man stars looking back at the past moments, remembering the time when they were together. In the room there are many pictures of their precious moments. As the story goes and he becomes more and more depressed, the girl in the pictures disappears from all the frames which symbolize his loneliness and sadness.
The story continues in a sad tone but toward the end comes a turning point. He receives a mobile message from his girlfriend, telling that even though they are far away, he is always in her heart and she got an opportunity to come back soon. After reading the message, he feels relieved from all the worries, and (as a climax) the girl in the pictures appears back to the frames.
The last scene of the story ends with showing a picture (a picture of a family) indicating the happy future of the couple.


{The objective}

In the music video, I intend to portray the emotion of the character that appears in the lyrics. I hope that the audience feels the same feelings that are expressed in the words and the images.
