I am touched by the sad story of the Three Plum Blossom Sisters becoming separated from their mother. It's very unusual, a sort of tragic musical stage show.

In the first album, the Sisters are separated from their mother due to a wicked mother-in-law.

In this, the second album, the girls write letters and keep singing, while their mother desperately tries to reunite with them.

In this final song, their mother finally makes it to the TV station where the Plum Blossom Sisters are singing.

But oh, cruel fate!

What will ultimately become of the Three Plum Blossom Sisters??? And where is their father during all of this? You'll have to watch the third album to find out!
