Get rid of pantry moths by throwing away the food source, cleaning the cabinet with soapy water and storing food in glass, metal or hard plastic containers. For continuous infestations from moths and caterpillars, store specific foods in the freezer using advice from an entomologist and insect specialist in this free video on moths.

  • I once brought home a woman of...shall we say...casual moral character. We had a great night, if you know what I mean. But next day...pantry moths. I never did get her name.... Oh well. You know, a ham and cheese omlette would be good right about now.

  • Go to lowe's or home depot and get pantry traps to help control these pests

  • My grandmother got them from bird seed at Sams Club.

  • Mostly with nuts, seeds and grains they travel inside the packaging. Its happened to me too.

  • I have bought a large container of almonds from costco and only ate a handful of them then left them on the shelf for months. I was cleaning out my shelf and found the jar with little webs and larvae & moths inside of it. How is something like this explained? The jar was sealed and only opened 2 times and closed immediately. How did they get in there, unless the eggs are present in most or all of our foods already. please explain this to me.

  • gerbil food = moth food = bedroom infestation = i has flame thrower

  • they can get through the rubber seals on all of my glass containers
