Sanyo Xacti CG10 HD Camcorder Unboxing (test footage inside)

I also had the kodak zi6 and hated it. I just have a few questions bout this one. How is the battery life since its only a rechargeable battery and change you change the sound for when you turn on the camera? Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks!

@Babe259 It gets me through filming about maybe 4 to 5 videos at an average of 4 to 5 minutes per video. Keep in mind, that all includes with file transfer time, I also leave it on while I edit each video so that might make a difference. It's not the best battery in the world but it records 720p HD really well and is suitable and affordable for what I'm trying to do.

Yo dude, I bought this cam last month and I have made some vids, but they're not in 720p HD which is kinda annoying :P do you know if there is some setting you need to change, cus me and my buddies have had a fiddle, but we cant find anything that makes it shoot HD can you help? please?

@SexualToasTi It might be the editing program you use that removes the HD. The video camera it self only shoots in HD, unless you changed in the settings. Take a good tour through the Menu and Settings to make sure everything is set right.

Question.. I was thinking about asking for this for my birthday in a couple of weeks and need to know if the auto focus is really good.. Example: I do beauty reviews and if I want to show my viewers the name of a nail polish on the bottom of a bottle which is tow times smaller than this font and I put the bottle up close to the camera lens would it show the words perfectly? Please answer asap if you want. It would help me so much! Thanks!

@Allthatglitters4u This auto focus is probably not the best for what you are trying to do. Just watch some of my recent videos. They are all using this camera. You can judge it yourself. But this camera is about a year old. You might have a better auto focus on the Sony Handycam video cameras, but keep in mind those range from $600 - $1600 if I remember correctly.

I skateboard and am looking for a decent cheap camera to get some footage, baring in mind it is a very fast sport and that i don't want there to be any blurring do you think this would be a good camera to get?

i have the same camera, but how do i upload the footage in 720p? it does just show in 360p. I upload through iMovie btw not a good idea maybe?
