  • How could anyone be against stem cells derived from skin instead of embryo's? There will probably be a fringe PRO-SKIN group who will hand out lotion and protest.

  • @isaiah13055 keep living in the stone ages. The 21th Century is about science, intellectualism, Stem Cell Research and facts.

If you and people like Christine O'Donnell are not happy, you can go to a convent and read your bible all day long and leave modern sophisticated society alone.

  • Not used, misused.

They're not killed, but forced to live and develop in pieces as property.

  • we had too many babies when the baby bloomers occurred, this way were just making up for the over abundant population.

im not being ignorant but i would rather sacrifice myself for the progress of science than getting hit by a bus and die either way. these embryos aren't being cold bloody killed but used for a cause, for a possible cure.

  • As a physician, I know what I'm talking about. Cells from umbilical cord, fluid, I'm gung-ho, let's go. I'm afraid you're ignoring the little ones, migo. It's the research that's screwed up, not my thinking. The embryos themselves, should not be forced to mature as pieces in separate dishes..........as property.

  • wow your thinking is pretty screwed up....no little ones have to be cannibalized......they can use stem cells from the umbilical cord which in no way affects the baby...do your research before u preach...............

  • Nope, little cell research company(novocell, etc.) wants to become big corporation by finding a way to successfully cannibalize the youngest of our species.

Artificially dividing a human, forcing it to develop and mature in separate dishes, for the purpose of sale of such is treating a human as property.

    Not very ethical.

  • Put this word in your notebook, Katie: TERATOMA.

  • bottom line....the big pharmas are making billions ondope sales to treat disease....do you really think they want a cure.....ha ha ha...
