Hardest Boss In Gaming History

This is the hardest boss ever. He can not be defeated with the best equipped and best leveled character. you could defeat him by surviving until Desch does enough damage....if that's possible. Or you could use a cheat. Or you could play the NES version, where it is possible to defeat him with a best equipped Onion Knight. Other than that there is no way you can defeat him...

@jovonwing FF7 Crisis core, no matter who u face, wen u get odin, its a one shot, but other than this, bosses are weak to poison, early bosses, but pretty much no where else

Yeah, you're not supposed to beat him. He's there to stop people from trying to sail on the Floating Continent. You have to appease his rage by clearing the Nepto Temple and defeating the Giant Rat boss.

Desch is Chuck Norris, 2 Ultima weapons are outclassed by his rapier and his unremarkable childish personality.

yeah enemys like this are common...like Dias Flac (star ocean 2) you arent meant to win...theyr ment to show growth later on in the game

ya i agree ive never died from him either. cuz the game manual has a step by step guide on beating him

but ya i think they should re make the game for ps3

ya..., there's several bosses that are like this in several games... like the very first gonghead in breath of fire 2 u fight, even hacked and have yourself at max level, he is impossible to defeat. its not rare to find enemies like these...

@italianstali01 then youre playing the game the wrong way. Sure he has 3-4 different forms and that annoying impersonate trick, but ive never died when battled him. The only troublesome boss for me was the optional boss :magician Faust. But then again, buying that cheat helm Legend Casque made that battle easy too, just equip the appropriate dragoon armor if you still have some problems :) Great game thou, too bad it never came a sequel :(
