Hello friends! I guess you all know by now that my old BarBQ Records from Bloomington, Indiana have in fact been reissued on the Numero/Asterisk label out of Chicago. If I were you I would buy my Celtic Christmas Spirit if you can find one on eBay or Amazon. It is my baby. Thanks for your interest and for remembering me.

The jazzy mood reminds me of Janis Ian's 'miracle row' album and Joni Mitchell's 'Don Juan's reckless daughter', both recorded around the same time. I also hear echoes of COS' 'Viva Boma' (COS is a belgian "canterbury" band fronted by Pascale Son). Great artist who deserves more recognition.

She has a stunning voice and I have loved this album for many a year...I had the great good fortune of appearing on and off Broadway with her in The Human Comedy....she was a sweet and talented gal...and I am sure she still is....(Daniel Noel-Felix)
