ROAD TRIP 2007- DAY 11 - Hoover Dam, Nevada & Arizona

Still Day 11 - driving from Las Vegas to the Skywalk, you have to pass over the Hoover Dam on the state line. So, we did it twice, coming and going. The plan was to get to the Skywalk early enough that we'd have time to explore the dam on the way back. Unfortunately, due to many issues (like 28 miles of dirt road!!) we arrived too late and were only permitted to take pictures from the road. More impressive than the dam, is the new bypass/bridge being constructed. I have never seen anything that colossal in my life!!

Hoover Dam is such a great piece of work and located in a beautifull landscape. I was there in 2003 and it was hot really hot. My arms was hurting when I was standing outside the visitor complex, that was because of the heat.
