Some of you have asked about it, so here's what I have stored in the kitchen.

  • Nancy, why are you stocking up on all the food? Don't you think the food will go on sale again before you have a chance to use what you already have?

  • @tschafroth We have been taught to have a year's supply of food on hand all the time. For times of illness, unemployment, natural disasters, other people in need... Rotate it and it's always good. check out provident living org.

  • This video has a lot of food for thought. Isn't a sour kraut a German soldier who's mad a lot?

  • @randomvideowatcher LOL love it!

  • Hi aunty nancy, this is very interesting, well here in hawaii we got cosco, but to me they are NOT cheap, I shop mostly at the military commisary, much cheaper but the expiration dates with the commisary for meats, canned foods , dont last long. they dont rotate there stock there. hugs marty

  • hoarder lol

  • @Dustycajungurl How hot is your kitchen? If you rotate them so they are used up every year or two, you should be okay.

  • I've enjoyed your videos. Since watching, I'm all stocked up. Feels like the depression is something that would not affect us. What convinced me was the issue with the bees. I pack in Mylar with oxygen absorbers. I like to stock whole wheat pasta, rice, beans and such. Sad that folks thing we're all nuts and "food hoarders". Yeah, just like I'm "hoarding silver" too. We'll...if TSHTF, I have humanitarian packages ready. ps. boycott "ChinaMart" good one.

  • JEFF1Z, have you checked out Nancy's video series called "How to Shop Cheaply"? It's awesome. She takes you down each and every isle and points out awesome bargains and tips on how to make the boxed items by buying the ingredients listed on the box. Very informative!
