Savanah is a 15 year old 2 time cancer survivor that was paralyzed from the waist down 2 years ago. They are the most amazing family and their older daughter's best friend Mimi Honeycutt has started a campaign on facebook to try and get Extreme Home Makeover to come and help them with their home and all the equipment Savanah needs.
Please show her what the power of stepping out and taking action to make a difference can do!
Savanah is the most amazing inspiration to anyone she meets. Her spirit is uncrushable and her passion to love life and live it is more than most people that are able to put there feet on the floor and walk into their day! She has been through more in a lifetime than most of us every will and at 15 she handles it all with incredible grace and goes on to inspire others despite having cancer twice and being paraylzed from the waist down. Her family is equally inspiring!
Her parents and siblings are incredible people of faith, love and strength. They too are inspiring to anyone they meet. They work so hard to meet Savanah's needs the best that they can -- but in reality it is just too much for any one family to bear alone.
I can't imagine a more deserving family than the Hinson's to receive a gift from Extreme Makeover -- and without a doubt in my mind I know that if given the gift of a new home from the Extreme Makeover crew -- they would give back in the ways they can with their inspiration and strength to everyone around them. This would be a blessing for them and everyone around them -- they are truly an amazing family.
