  • This is a university workshop, not a professional production. If you want to be an ass and bash American students, go do it somewhere else. Jerk.

  • For a university production, this really is awesome. Especially singing!

I think this is fab! The comment slagging off Americans is plain stupid (I'm English by the way). Were there more chorus singers in the background or just the chaps on stage? If just the guys on stage, the singing is really astoundingly good! Like someone else has said, you don't a lot to make this sound good -- and these guys have done a dazzling job.

  • Mh, the singing is really good, it even makes up for the lack of an orchestra. Pretty nice to watch, too, the visuals are kinda old-fashioned.

  • My high school did this operetta, i was 15. vast difference in proffessionalism, i may be being a jerk. i know i am, good luck to all involved

  • This was very well sung. I found this production of The Mikado very well done. You don't need a lot to make this good. The writing and music stand for themselves. Though some percussion would have been nice with the bass drum parts and what not. I enjoyed this

  • Not bad basics, but Its so not written for one piano... (and why You need a conductor then? Unless you interact with him like good old English did)
