  • @PINKxxFLOYD While there is no excuse for spousal abuse, according to Cynthia Lennon's autobiography, he hit her once, when they were in art college, which would have been about ten years before this video. People do have the capacity to change.

  • Was somebody supposed to be able to hear that.

Thank you. I don't agree with *any* man hurting a woman physically (or the other way around), but this "wife-beater" description ppl are shooting off about John is false. Cyn stated there was only 1 incident- before they married. It was wrong. She dumped him for a few months and said not a word to him until he was crawling on his knees begging her to take him back. He never hit her again.

  • What year was this clip from? Thanks.

  • @FreedomFighterUK If you stayed in bed, it would make no difference. If you went around preaching 'love and peace,' it probably wouldn't make a difference either. That's because you probably don't have the audience that John Lennon had (though I hesitate to say that, because we've never met). Beyond that, I'm honestly not sure what you're point is. Are you just pointing out the hypocrisy of attempting to promote peace when you have violence in your personal history?

  • @bigjer88 I've NEVER hit a woman and I don't go around preaching 'love and peace'. Perhaps I should? I could just stay in bed because that would make a difference wouldn't it?
