Date Of Birth: February 5, 1965
Age at Time of Disappearance: 18 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'4; 105 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian. Curly blonde hair; hazel eyes.
Clothing: Leppert was last seen wearing a blue blouse with flower appliques on the shoulder and a denim skirt. She was not wearing shoes, nor was she carrying a purse.
Medical Conditions: She may have been 3 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Leppert, a teen-model who specialized in posing for swimsuit ads and played bit parts in Scarface and Spring Break, left her house barefoot and without money. Leppert, whose resume lists Miss Teen Florida and Miss Sun and Surf titles among her accomplishments, drove away with a male friend, who later told police he left her outside a Cocoa Beach bank after an argument.

@beautifulstar33 It looks really creepy. It is boarded up and has a chain link fence around it. It has a large sign up front that says, "Atlantic Nautilus." I guess it was a gym at one time.

Back in the 80's, paranoid schizophrenia was poorly understood and untreated. This is what I believe she suffered from. I know from personal experience. I believe that she believed this "conspirancy" was around her, and she chose to disappear out of fear. She might be in her 50's today, in a facility, unable to recall her past.

I drive by that glass bank almost every day. It is abandoned and haunting looking. I think about Tammy every time I go past there. I hope that she is found.
