A guy named Billy. There were a number of others as well but I always thought he was super talented. More of a midfielder with striker ability and speed, quickness and tenacity. Plus he knew the game better than anyone around. In terms of "just" scoring goals (not a small "just" btw) Eric was the best around.

that's very true. There were alot of good players in my area as a kid but he stood out. Him and another guy who never went anywhere. Cobi Jones, who we also played with, was just above average for the area.
