  • Say what you want about Barry. From 2000 - 2004 he was the best hitter I ever saw. During that span he hit .339, averaged 52 HR, 109 RBI, and 174 BB per season. His On base % was .535 and his slugging % was almost .800. And for all that power, he only struck out 63 times/year. We know he was chemically enhanced during those years, but man he was awesome. I remember in the 2002 playoffs John Smoltz threw a 99 MPH fastball at Barry's letters that he blasted about 500 ft. Such a quick bat.

  • i dont give a fuck about all the hatters he had one of the smoothest swings in baseball along with Griffey and i got to throw will "the thrill" in there...in essence lefties have the sexiest swings

  • It was the steroid ERA, thousands upon thousands of players (both hitters and pitchers) from the 80s to early 2000s were taking steroids, if you were in the same position and your competition (from your own teammates to the players on other teams) were taking them and not getting caught can you honestly say you wouldn't have done it also.... So why do we judge the greats of that era? It makes no sense...With that being said Bonds is easily one of if not the greatest hitter of all time

  • @aviator259 oh yea and asshole is one word dummy

  • @aviator259 how many players do you think have taken steroids in their lives and still suck, still had the greatest swing and best eye in baseball. AND YOU CANNOT DENY THAT ONE

and boom goes the dynamite motherfucker

  • @sbigmike84 thank you! I miss the steroids era

  • @AJPepsi Hahaha definitely not.

  • Steroids brought fun to baseball

  • I don't care if he was on roids his swing is amazing....plus Ruth only face 10 pitchers in a season were only fast balls and curve balls were thrown. Now you face more than 100 pitchers a season

  • three words... CHEATIN' ASS HOLE!

  • @tylabishop4 are you dumb? the fences were a lot FURTHER away in those times.
