@85justus First off, thank you for your service to this great country. Secondly, whether you end up doing close order drill or serving in the band each Marine serves there country in their own way, like you said, every Marine is equal to that of there fellow Marines. They have two medals on their chest because first off they are mostly all Lance Corporals and young officers I think I saw one or two above that of captain. Some men were probably deployed eventually, you never know.

@85justus Exactly the response i was expecting, like I said if you knew anything about being a true marine you would not be bragging/boasting as we speak, but instead speak of equality among your fellow marines. It's dandy and all what you have done but your mentality has become corrupt thinking you are above all for stepping on the front lines.

@hotyute Yea I should be hanged/executed for serving 4 years, doing 2 tours to Iraq and getting out with an honorable discharge simply because I made fun of some marines that have obviously never deployed. It seems you are the one that knows nothing about the marine corps; we always rib each other over who's done what. Either that or you're one of the boots I described that will spend his/her entire career doing close order drill or band.

You think because you are behind you nice comfortable house chatting over the internet you can say something as foolish and stupid as this. These people I'm sure are equal. If you know anything about the marines you'd know the they preach equality and brother's in arms.

I love how everybody gets all moto when they see the drill team, 8th an i etc. What they don't realize is that they're lookin at a bunch of boots that haven't ever deployed. Look at how they all have like 2 awards. Wanna see the real Marine Corps? Go watch a report from the front.
