  • i dont mean to troll or rant but your video is SOOOO STUPID lern to use your phone mate, i have a SG2 and idk what your talking about symbian being this "amazing" os u kidding me mate idk all i can say is lern to use the phone propperly and u close apps useing the back botton thats the "in built exit botton" -__-

  • @TheSynthMonkey fair enough points on closing the app. the point of the video was deliberately to have my thoughts as my first transition tho so of course there would be noob moments. Have a look at my part 2 as well tho. my main points are that the n8 as a phone and not just the os still has aspects I miss as I have start using about 75% of my time with the GS2 now - mainly cuz I browse the net more than anything else.

  • i have the situation like u i have the n8 orange end i what to go for android

  • @gavrilaeugen prob galaxy nexus imo but screen will be too big prob for many people - my perfect size would be around 4 inches. Have you tried symbian belle (google how to flash- pretty easy)? It makes n8 feel better but speedwise still no way close to my gs2. I reckon now that gs2 is a bit cheaper as well its a great buy. When i first got the gs2 was prob swapping between n8 and gs2 50% but now more like 80% using gs2 mainly cuz it just feels faster. dont play with apps much anymore.

  • When u plug in the USB, just slide down the notification bar...not everyone wants to goto mass storage mode so sliding down from top to bottom should simplify the complicated process u used

  • @dubo321 oh i c.. I tried but notification bar doesnt have the shortcut? plug in usb>phone goes to kies mode. if i exit, there is still no shortcut in the notification bar...

The only way i can get the shortcut is if i go thru my steps as per my vid, then after disconnecting I get a shortcut in the notification bar?

Moot point after kies is installed tho-I just noted it since my nokias have always allowed mass storage once cable is connected & I use itfor managing my own files on phone that way.

  • So how is it going with android? Do you miss your n8? I am in the process of getting a new phone, I was confused between symbian, android and ios? After watching your video I am gonna go for symbian (n8), its easy to use. The biggest problem with android is battery life, for me battery is no 1 priority.

  • symbian anna is out now..... get back to your nokia ;)

  • If you really are worried about you're task manager, install advanced task manager from the market! Simple.

Ps. Glad that you swiched to Android :)

  • @quagmyre2 you are new to the os , there is a lot you need to learn

i'll just give you a little tip for starters: DON'T CLOSE APPS! EVER!

i really liked nokia when i had it, and the moment that nokia will make an android phone i will buy it no matter how good/bad it will be

but symbian is just not good enough, and wp7 sucks

  • Symbian is not dead, it uses less battery than android or iOS and with the all new Belle its a really good system :) I love my Nokia C7 :)

  • @StylinRed S2 better

  • my first phone its an optimus one i have it rooted cm7 nightlie 20 and a lot of features that u can get with it

android adapts to you in a simple way but in symbian you need to adapt to symbian and no matter how u dont like the first view of ur phone ut can changes and give you the view you like so its pretty good but in symbian it dont gives a fuck it stays as it comes no matter if u update it its the same so android its to way better and faster and the best ui thx for read

  • @TheDastan01 hmm if by that you mean the S2 uses up its fuel really fast

  • Symbian Belle ftmfw

  • Looks like Pagani Zonda F vs Toyota Prius

Samsung Galaxy S II - Pagani Zonda F

    Nokia N8 - Toyota Prius

  • ----IF YOU WANT A EASY TO USE SMARTPHONE THEN GO FO N8 !! (for rockies)

----IF YOU WANT A RICH GUY IMAGE THEN GO FOR IPHONE !!

----IF YOU WANT A SMARTPHONE WITH ABSOLUTELY ALL THE POWER OF A WINDOWS THEN GO FOR ANDROID (not for rockies)

----IF YOU WANT INTERNET AND INFORMATION FEEDS THEN GO FOR WINDOWS PHONE 7

  • this person obviously has no idea on how to use android and is probably just started using android for 1-2 hours before he uploaded that vid, i have no idea how the hell symbian can be better than android... i've been using symbian for 3 years, and all i can say is crap, BIG CRAP.

when i moved to android everything was simpler and better, and wasn't cheaply made...

if you cant handle android, crawl back into symbian's crappy ass.
