  • why are they not going to Malayasia or Penang, the culinary capital of Malaysia to do a Food Safari about Malaysia? This is just Australia's version of pared-down, plastic version of Malaysian food. The real food of Malaysia is made in 100-year-old hawker stalls...not by a 5-star chef in Australia!!! No!!!

  • @lexataniara Laksa is from Malaysia..also chilli crab..i dont thing that singapore have their own unique food

  • @lushgreenapple11 Food Safari is an Australian show exploring the varied world cuisines that exist here. It's not a travel show, but a show gives voice to those who have immigrated to Australia and how they keep their culture alive through food. It's not claiming to be anything else.

  • i loveeee sagu gula melaka... sedappp nyeee. :D

  • Actually Singapore cuisine is a successful blend of Malaysian and Chinese cuisines with some indian, arabic and european influences so they have their own specialities even if they have not millenial food traditions.

  • 3:25 the coming up message was in greek at first! how come?

  • don't forget the Terengganu or Kelantanese white noodles with coconut milk laksa @ highflyer

  • Chinese curry noodle also taste excellent.

  • @ikib84 laksa is from malaysia, chilli crab is from singapore

  • @lexataniara Laksa is definitely not from Singapore, but it doesn't mean Singapore can't have their own version of Laksa. Singapore's famous for katong laksa, and in Malaysia, there's generally 3 kinds of laksa, the johore laksa, the kedah laksa and the penang laksa. What you see up there is probably a version of curry laksa that is similar to the johore laksa.
