Smooth Criminal Guitar Cover/Tribute by Rich Rehfuss

My audition for Americas Got Talent 2009.

Backing track was written and played by and is loaded into Reaper. Audio for live track is being recorded as it being played. The audio was then mixed with the video, as to not use the camera's terrible mic. There are no tricks here, lol.

I of course figured that was a possibility but why try to show your possible skills by "lip syncing"? It just leaves a lot of doubt. People all over YouTube put on impressive skill demonstrations live. It's not hard. You owe me nothing but if you are going to claim this skill just show it for real or there will be people to call you out, rightfully so. I play guitar myself although not well enough to do what I heard in your video............ of a recording :) .

@Inthrutheout mixed audio will always be more pleasing to the ears than direct camera audio. If you have any doubt about my playing, four of my other videos are live recordings with live audio.

@Inthrutheout Of course, why would I use the terrible audio from the camera. Look at the DAW in the back, it is recording the track you are hearing. It was mixed in post and then layered to the video. No edits were made to the performance. Thank you for watching though!
