There is a generation of twenty-somethings (like me) who can't get enough of Sam Cooke. The man can sing. He can really sing and listen to him. All my problems fall from my shoulders and my girlfriends and I start dancing in the living room in our bare feet.
you got a point japan817 but when i think about the era sam sung these songs i think thats what makes him so great...everyone knows music like everything else progresses but this is the 1960's and still sound great today...and as for the radio they dont play enough of his songs
