A little flash study using the Enneagram sacred geometry concept, and a guitar. Embedded within are the law of three, and the law of seven. This is a simple composition which uses the math and concepts of the Enneagram to compose a diatonic progression that cycles through the form. It's a somewhat clunky first try with some flaws, but I wanted to see the concepts in motion while hearing what their inter-relationships would sound like. I deviated from the usual way of using the scale in relation to the 9 points on the enneagram circle (ie putting Do on the 9th point and leaving points 3 and 6 empty). However, in my Fugue section I did use the "shock" concept when introducing new voices at the half step points. I will try other approaches in the future. It hearkens back to the old bouncing ball lyric videos, but with an esoteric twist. More studies will be forthcoming. Recorded with a reverse Gibson flying V! Rock on.
