@bpkoehler Thanks for the info!

NC has a very active group. They have a website ircwcc.org and one of their north carolina captains has been hosting battles monthly (they have their big annual national event coming up soon in Oakboro I believe)

looks nice: I'm building my own USS Arizona. take a look and give me some feedback!

omg! even by a air soft gun ship of the arizona still sinks lol

You guys are heroes it takes balls to do this, build a model, fight it, risk it, repair it and do it again. Do you have any chapters in New Jersey?

Ahh the Arizona, the ship named after my homeland. :)

@Mspsychapussycat
You must not have searched Google. Any search with model warship combat will have the two main suppliers on the first page (STRIKE models and BattlersConnection). Battlers Connection has a complete Nagato kit on it - it is a good ship in our hobby.. turns well and can take damage pretty good also (unless we forget to plug in our pumps.. er, not that I've... done that before.. or anything ;-)

There are two main clubs. Most of the country is model warship combat (mwci org). The NE area is the other club (ircwcc org). Really it is just location (same scale, almost same rules, and some members that travel to battle with both clubs). You should check their site as I believe they list a NJ chapter!
