I have The same problem on an iphone 3G of 3 years now. I have this problem since i did The jailbreak. But that's very rarely on my iPhone.

I got this problem when i first opened a new one out of the box! I went to the store and left it for repair. Will see....

i got an itouch and it started to shut down every 6 minutes. I tried restoring. but no fix

I just got this iphone same problem rebooting and freezing
going to have to wait couple days till the stores re open -_-

I returned my crashing I phone 4 for refund on the 30th day. 2 weeks later I ordered a new one from apples web site. Hopefully I will have better luck this time

this pisses me off i have the same problem with my iphone it keeps on cashing on aps and it is slow as hell !!!!!!
I haven't had one reboot or freeze since I swapped it. I'm very happy with it. Sorry to hear about yours.

I brought it to the Apple Store and they did another system restore and firmware+system restore and it still crashed afterwards. They said they haven't seen that happen before with any others (yet its only been 2 days) They replaced it right there on the spot. Very pleasant experience with the genius bar. :)

Already did 3 full system restores with no success. AppleCare confirmed hardware related and we need to swap it out as soon as they get some in stock. Thank you for the recommendation though.
