Boogie Woogie : 2007 UK Festival - Jack 'Kid' Carter

Jack 'Kid' Carter is a really authentic and fast Boogie Woogie performer, and is seen here playing on the main concert stage at the 2007 UK Boogie Woogie Festival.

It's fair to say that Jack's style is perhaps best described as 'fast and furious' - but as you will see on the video, it's a great style and real crowd pleaser!

Local Saxophone Player Howard Meyrick does his best to keep up with some excellent solo work.

The UK International Boogie Woogie Festival takes place every year over a long weekend {Fri/Sat/Sun} in June/July, based in Dorset, Southern England.

Great to see Jack here on Youtube! I saw him in 2002 or 2003 at the Boogie Woogie Festival in Brussels and never heard of him again :(

I would like to know if he still plays around and if there is a website where I can follow him.

I didn't find anything on Google, MySpace, ... :(
